Honoured for Efficiency
Zink & Kraemer’s Rhineland-Palatinate campaign for Luxembourg-based airline Luxair has been honoured by the Marketing Club Trier-Luxembourg and awarded the 2009 Marketing AWARD for the Greater Region for exceptionally effective marketing actions.
The distinguished international jury had words of praise for the Luxair campaign, which was designed, planned, and implemented by Zink & Kraemer: “The concept impresses with its clear goal and straightforward, successful solution, which takes a particularly precise and brilliant approach to the communication aspect.” The quality of the campaign won over the jurors with its high ratings in ten different categories, including excellent overall impression of the marketing strategy, creativity, sustainability, potential to attract and retain customers, innovation, and measurable impact on sales.
The mission of the campaign was to communicate and advertise a new, customer-oriented price structure, which aimed to change the image of the airline as being “too expensive” and promote Luxair as the region’s high-quality airline that offers the best value for the money.
Zink & Kraemer conveyed those objectives with provocative headlines, clear communication of the airline’s new price structure, and a highly visual presence in the region. The results speak for themselves: a 14% increase in passengers as compared to the previous year, and a fundamental change in the public perception of the client’s brand.
