Make it one. Make it work.
NetCologne is well known as a leading local provider of telephone and internet services for private customers. But its extensive range of services for business customers, offered by NetCologne and its subsidiary NetCologne ITS, is less well known. So it was time to change that. The answer: a new sub-brand bringing together expertise in fibre optics, data centres and IT services under one roof – NetCologne Business. A challenge tailor-made for zuk.
The challenge in developing the new sub-brand was to give NetCologne Business a strong identity of its own, while still benefiting from the awareness and credibility of the NetCologne master brand.
We achieved this with a corporate design that reinterprets the master brand’s existing design elements and colour palette in a fresh, distinctive way. The tone of voice is equally clear: confident, self-aware and approachable. Together, these elements create a strong, recognisable identity that sits naturally within the wider NetCologne brand family.
Are your branding and brand architecture also on your to-do list?
How do you get a new brand into people’s minds and hearts? The answer: through a range of internal initiatives to onboard staff and an external launch campaign that addresses the target audience’s digitalisation challenges clearly and incisively – thereby generating high levels of awareness and plenty of talking points.
The whole campaign was rolled out across multiple media channels: a new website, social media, online adverts including IP targeting, out-of-home advertising focusing on industrial estates and office locations, and adverts in major regional newspapers and business publications. A particular highlight: the debut of NetCologne’s ‘Future Day’ as an exclusive customer event featuring exciting keynote speeches and plenty of business insights (organised by Neyroo).
